J.DEVLIGNE (1879 - 1947) Oil on board. 27 cm x 19 cm

Delvigne was a post-Impressionist who attended the Salon des Indépendants in Paris from 1923 and the Salon des Artistes Francais from 1931- to 1934.

This is a surprisingly robust little piece which I adore. It would easily fit on a tray in the kitchen or on a bedroom side table.
