Leisure in Blue

Purchased at the Puce de Vances, I loved how calming and simply pretty this painting is. Perfect not just for a bedroom, but also a reading nook, or perched on a shelf in the kitchen. The colours will go with literally anything, bringing calmness to chaos or a hint of colour to a quiet decor.

The painting is attributed to Jean-Adrien Mercier, (1899-1995) who received his training at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts Angers and then transferred to the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1921.

The painting is in a simple wooden frame which frames and protects this delicate painting perfectly.

Lovely condition for her age, please take a close look to ensure you are happy with any wear.
