Green meadow
A quiet moment captured. Although the artist can't be found, the tell-tale canvas gives some hints to its past. The frame comes from LeFranc Bourgeois, who, since 1720 are considered the founding brand of the Beaux-Arts, a centuries old French paint producer who supplied paint to Versaille.
The canvas sticker on the back has it sitting at around the 1940's. A very simple piece with lovely movement that could be used as a colour block to match cushions or a throw... simply add depth to a wall.
The paint is applied quite finely so flecks of wear can been seen across the canvas, most noticeably on the right side (see photo). Please take a close look to ensure you are happy with this wear.
You are welcome to book a 'Meet the painting' to see the canvas up close xx
